After moving to Ohio from the west coast, we were very excited to find a place with Japanese sandos! Unfortunately, what greeted us on Saturday, August 1 at 7:40pm was not only filthy conditions, but only two workers who clearly did not want to be there. Trash bins overflowed and were not dumped. Trash on the floor behind the counters and going into the kitchen. Filthy, stained curtains separating the kitchen and front of house area. Countertops and case lines where food is kept was dirty and in disarray. Dairy products to make the drinks were left out and not put back into refrigerators. Floors were in serious need of being mopped. If this is what is seen by the public, one could only imagine what takes place where food is actually being handled. It took 20 minutes to receive a boba drink and a strawberry sando, then ANOTHER 20 minutes to receive an egg salad sando. When we arrived there was only one other customer ahead of us. By the time we received our complete order, which was to-go, it was just too warm to safely eat. Service was very nice! The person in the store was greeting everyone, striking up conversations, and making the food. The food itself was okay... we got one of their dessert sandwiches which was hard to figure out how to eat without it spilling everywhere and didn't taste as good as it looked. Got a tea which was good 👍🏼 The atmosphere seems very "instagramable" rather inviting.

Te'Amo is a cute-looking spot for boba and desserts within the Pinecrest complex. The ordering process is entirely digital via touchscreens, which is especially helpful because the screen displays images of every item, since not all the desserts are physically on display in the case. We tried the coconut mango panna cotta. The execution was excellent—it was not overly sweet and had an authentic mango flavor. The texture and the low sugar closely mirrored desserts you would find in Japan. Highly recommended if you prefer low-sugared desserts. Logistics & Parking: Pinecrest gets heavily congested. Skip trying to find street parking directly in front of the shop. Instead, drive straight to the designated free Pinecrest parking structure and take the short walk over; it saves significant time looking for a parking spot.

Love this place! TE'AMO has so many good bubble tea options. My favorite is the jasmine milk tea with matcha foam. It’s super flavorful and not too sweet, which I really like. They also have tons of desserts like Basque cheesecakes, crepe cakes, panna cotta, and the softest, fluffiest mochi donuts. Everything I tried was so good! The shop is super cute too with lots of seating, so it’s a great spot to hang out and chill. Definitely coming back again soon!

This place is beautiful on the inside and the staff was friendly- though interactions are limited as you order using the screens. I think if you are looking for the social media aesthetic with pretty drinks and desserts then this is definitely the place for you. The mochi donuts are excellent. Other than the donuts, staff and atmosphere, everything was just decent. The cheesecakes were beautiful to look at but they seemed to have an almost perfume aftertaste. The matcha dalgona was nice- not too sweet but the lemonades had the same issue as the cheesecake- perfumery. Overall, I think this is a cool hangout to do work and chill with friends but if you’re looking for the desserts and drinks to keep you coming back, keep looking.
